Awabakal Environmental Education Centre facilitates the Hunter Schools Environmental Network (HSEN). This network is for teachers and support staff, as well as members of your school community, involved in sustainability education in schools.
The network meets once a term and aims to share, inspire, and showcase school initiatives and to collaborate on environmental and sustainability ideas and issues in schools. Schools volunteer to host meetings, this allows us to visit different schools throughout the year.
These meetings are an excellent opportunity to make connections with other people involved in environmental and sustainability education and ask any questions you may have about projects in your school.
Please contact Awabakal Environmental Education Centre for details of the next meeting.
