Awabakal EEC offers a range of field work programs from Early Stage 1 through to Stage 6, in a variety of locations. One School, Two Campuses

In 2022 after consultation, Wetlands and Awabakal Environmental Education Centres have joined to form one school named Awabakal Environmental Education Centre.

Awabakal Environmental Education Centre has two campuses: Dudley Campus (previously known as Awabakal EEC) and Wetlands Campus (previously known as Wetlands EEC).

We continue to deliver quality educational programs in a variety of locations. 

Envirothon 2023

The 2023 Envirothon is fast approaching. Register your school's team today!

Envirothon is a competition for environmentally aware Year 10 and Year 11 students.

This year Envirothon will be held at the beautiful Glenrock State Conservation Area on Wednesday 7th May.

Hunter Schools Environmental Network 

Date: Wednesday 24th May 2023.

Address: Dudley Public School, 124 Ocean Street, Dudley. Parking is available in Boundary Street.

Meet at the office and we will make our way to the school library.

The team at Dudley Public School will take us on a tour of the sustainability projects at their school including:

  • The school recycling system of pods
  • Their new eco-sense garden and mural
  • A bee garden designed to support their beehive of sugar bag bees, including raised beds that have been converted to wicking beds

The team will also discuss how they implemented the FEAST program with Stage 3 students and their entry into the Mobile Muster film competition.
