NSW Environmental and Zoo Education Centres (EZECs) are proud custodians of traditional Country including significant sites across NSW and encompass the traditional lands of a broad diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

We acknowledge Elders, past and present, and respect the continuing cultural authority and traditions and believe that we can all walk together to a better future.
EZECs recognise the rich contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures make to the diversity of the Australian community. We are committed to advancing reconciliation and ensuring the First Peoples of this nation are valued. Furthermore, it is our responsibility as Australians to have a cultural understanding of Australia's traditional heritage.
