Environmental Zoo and Education Centres

Awabakal Environmental Education Centre is part of the Department of Education's network of 24 Environmental and Zoo Education Centres (EZECs).

These centres offer high-quality, engaging excursion and incursion programs in distinctive natural settings throughout the state.

The programs are aligned with the NSW curriculum and facilitated by trained teachers from the NSW Department of Education. They provide hands-on learning experiences in nature, inspiring students to take action towards a more sustainable future. Additionally, the centres support schools in their efforts to become more sustainable.
